Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets (6-8 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Fresh dill sprigs, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  5. Once marinated, place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets, so keep an eye on them.

  6. Remove the baked salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

  7. Transfer the salmon fillets to serving plates. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh dill sprigs for an extra touch of freshness.
